Powerbetter
provides soils and infrastructure improvement services, from bases
in Ireland and the UK, reflecting the knowledge and experience which
Powerbetter has acquired over its years of performance as one of
Europe’s leading Mix-in-Place stabilisation/solidification
contractors. The company is the only independent and long-established
stabilisation contractor located in both countries, with wide-ranging
experience of the technological and practical advances made in
stabilisation and soils improvement techniques and processes since
the early 1980’s.
For
many years, Powerbetter was the sole UK soil stabilisation
practitioner, and worked closely with the Department of Transport,
and other organisations such as the Transport Research Laboratory and
British Airports Authority, to pioneer new developments in
stabilisation technology in the UK, through its works on government
agency projects in road construction, at regional airports at London
Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow, and on major
commercial and industrial schemes.
Powerbetter
has been examining both soils and waste streams from other regions
of the world (China, Romania, Chile and Bolivia) for a number of
years, and has been active in researching, and developing remediation
solutions for the treatment of contaminated and polluted soils in
Canada since early 2004.
Powerbetter
(Ireland) Limited operates from a base at Mullingar, in County
Westmeath, ideally located to access the whole of the commercial
heart of the country.

original companies licensed by the Environment Agency in the in situ
remediation treatment of contaminated materials.
